In what was commented on by a number of club members this is the ‘club round of the year’. Last year was hard to beat but once again we were all surprised by the weather and surf conditions on offer. A huge thank you from the Byron Bay Boardriders committee to all the club members, families and friends that attended the weekend away at Lake Aragon. The weekend was full of sun, fun and surf just like our 2010 club shirt says. Once again this event proved that our club isn’t just about the competition, it’s about the friendship and good times we are all fortunate enough to share each year. Well done to all competitors that surfed well over the weekend. The grommets were all surfing well on bank 2. Also a big congratulations to Tommy Boucat and Henry Phillips on making the Open Final, well done boys!
